Frozen depths,
psychotic.
Glacial and cold,
dread and terror.
Beyond the warmth
of the human heart,
untouchable.
The Kiss of Death.
Cain and Able.
Betrayal
lives here.
Unashamed.

Father and Son,
no longer one.
Jesus on the cross,
betrayed by god.
There is no
trusting the father, or,
going back to the Garden.

We long for the
Primeval.
The Garden before,
Eve'l.
But human love
is born of betrayal.
Man is born of Eve.
Cain and Able
a begininng,
not a departure.

Betrayal is a gate
to forgiveness, to love.
Betrayal leads to union, oneness.
Love and Fate reconciled.
A thin line
between love and pain.

The worst betrayal
is self-betrayal.
Refusal to carry out
one's own suffering.
Trying to build a protective wall,
cutting oneself off,
swearin, "Never again"!
